Article 370: The untold story

It is often not realized that among the causes of Kashmir problem – inclusion of plebiscite in the Instrument of Accession, reference of Kashmir to UN, halting Indian offensive when it was poised to drive out the invaders from Kashmir, Article 370 has played no less a part in preventing J&K from becoming an integral part of the Indian Union. Not many people are aware as how and why this Article was formulated and included in the Indian Constitution despite grave misgivings of Sardar Patel and indeed a large number of the members of Congress Working Committee and Constituent Assembly.

Article 370 was worked out in late 1947 between Sheikh Abdullah, who had by then been appointed Prime Minister of J&K by the Maharaja and Nehru, who kept the Kashmir portfolio with himself and kept Sardar Patel, the home minister, away from his legitimate function. Hence Nehru is answerable to all acts of commission and omission, consequences of which we are suffering till date as far as J&K is concerned.

While it was Mountbatten who persuaded Nehru to take the J&K issue to the UN, it was Sheikh Abdullah, who, driven by his ambition to be ruler of an independent Kashmir and his hatred for the Maharaja, persuaded Nehru to give special status to J&K. Among his reasons were – occupation of one third of J&K by Pakistan, reference to the UN and plebiscite. The most sinister aspect of proposed Article 370 was the provision that any changes could be brought about in it only by the concurrence of J&K assembly. Nehru’s promise that Article 370 was a temporary provision and will get eroded over a period of time has turned out to be a chimera. [ COMMENT : Quote : Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru in Parliament : " Samvidaan Ki Dhara 370 Ghiste Ghiste Ghis Jayagee " ] The first thing that Sheikh Abdullah got done was to abolish hereditary monarchy and redesignate him as Sadar-e-Riyasat who was to be elected by the Assembly. The accession of J&K State into Indian Union was approved by J&K Assembly only in 1956.

Dramatis Personal

Jawahar Lal Nehru  The handsome Harrow educated aristocrat who gave up a life of luxury to join the freedom movement. Babu’s choose heir and darling of the masses,he had a fatal flaw. He cared for personalities rather than issues and institutions, be it selection of Lord Mountbatten as the first Governor General of free India, retaining a senior British officer as the Commander-in-Chief of India Army or backing Sheikh Abdullah to the hilt – his choices were unfortunate. Finally the Chinese aggression of 1962 shattered his image of a world statesman.

Sardar Patel  The Iron Man of India — silent, strong and pragmatic with a complete hold on congress party organization — rightly credited with creating a unified India by integrating 565 princely states in it — he would have included Kashmir also in it if allowed to do so by Nehru.The only blot on him was the insinuation that he failed to protect his beloved Bapu. The slur only hastened his end in Dec 1950.

Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah  Charismatic Kashmiri leader who never let go of his dream of ruling an independent Kashmir even while masquerading as a secularist — architect of Article 370 along with Nehru. He must share with Nehru the grave consequences. Lion of Kashmir brought Nehru under his spell from 1938 onwards to the extent that in May 1947 when he was arrested by the Maharaja for sedition, Nehru represented Sheikh as his lawyer and was even arrested in Jun 1947 by the Maharaja while trying to enter J&K. Finally Nehru had to eat the humble pie by arresting Sheikh Abdullah for sedition on 9 Aug 1953.

Maharaja Hari Singh  The Maharaja saw an opportunity at the end of British Raj to keep Kashmir as the Switzerland of the East. Trying to repeat history when his ancestors – Maharaja Gulab Singh and Ranbir Singh gained handsome dividends by keeping aloof during the Sikh War and Great Mutiny, Hari Singh tried to sign a standstill Agreement with India and Pak at the time of independence, Pakistan signed, India declined. Maharaja died a lonely man, forced to abdicate and exiled from his beloved land.

The Drama Unfolds

Having finalized the text of Article 370 with Sheikh Abdullah, Nehru brought in Gopalaswamy Ayyangar, IAS, as a minister without portfolio to help him deal with Kashmir portfolio and plead the case of Article 370 in the Constituent Assembly. Gopalaswamy Ayyangar had been prime minister of Kashmir for six years with Maharaja Hari Singh. When Sardar Patel expressed his misgivings,this is what Nehru had to say on Dec 27, 1947:

“Gopalaswamy Ayyangar has been especially asked to help in Kashmir matters. Both for this reason and because of his intimate knowledge and experience of Kashmir, he had to be given full latitude. I really do not know where the States Ministry (Sardar Patel’s ministry) comes into the picture except that it should be kept informed for the steps taken. All this was done at my instance and I do not propose to abdicate my functions in regard to matters for which I consider myself responsible. May I say that the manner of approach to Gopalaswamy was hardly in keeping with the courtesy due to a colleague.”

The Sardar thereupon resigned and the matter fell in Gandhiji’s lap to bring the two colleagues together. 

During this period, V Shankar, IAS was the personal secretary to Patel and had maintained a record of all events. It is clear from these records that Nehru finalized the draft of Article 370 alongwith Sheikh Abdullah without even informing Patel. Thereafter it fell to Gopalaswamy Ayyangar to get the draft passed in the Constituent Assembly discussions. The proposal was torn to pieces by the Constituent Assembly and also Congress Party Executive.

Nehru, who was abroad at the time, swallowed his pride and rang up Patel and requested him to get the Article 370 approved . It speaks volumes of Patel’s loyalty to a colleague that despite his own and others misgivings, he managed to convince the members of Constituent Assembly and Congress Party Executive. But to V Shankar he said “Jawaharlal Royega”. 

V Shankar, in his record has described the meeting of the Congress Executive Committee “The meeting was one of the stormiest I have ever witnessed barring the party meeting which discussed the proposition relating to Rajaji becoming the first President of Indian Republic. The opinion in opposition to Gopalaswamy’s formula was forcefully and even militantly expressed and the issue even brought in the sovereignty of the Constituent Assembly to draw up the Constitution without being tied down to the apron-strings of the Kashmir State Constituent Assembly. In such a situation even Maulana Azad was shouted down.

The Party was in uproar. The Sardar had to plead that because of the international complications, a provisional approach alone could be made leaving the question of final relationship to be worked out according to the exigencies of the situation and mutual feelings and confidence that would have been by then created. Once the Sardar had taken charge, all opposition to the draft was silenced” 

And how Nehru responded to this great act of loyalty on part of Sardar? 

On 24 July 1952, after Sardar was no more, Nehru made a detailed statement on Kashmir in the Parliament on slow integration of Kashmir into India Union and mentioned that “Sardar Patel was all the time dealing with these matters.” 

Even Gopalaswami Ayyangar was dismayed at this blatant lie and mentioned to V Shankar “It is an ill return to the Sardar for the magnanimity he had shown in accepting Panditji’s point of view against his better judgment.”

Consequences of Article 370

Article 370 has been the biggest impediment to integration of J&K State into Indian Union. That it was incorporated in the Indian Constitution by the machination of two individuals – Shiekh Abdullah and Nehru is all the more regrettable. Nehru had to eat the humble pie when he had to arrest the Sheikh for his divisive and anti national stance on 8 Aug 1953 but he did not let go of his concept of keeping J&K a separate entity. In 1957, some top leaders of National Conference led by Mr Qasim split the party and formed a group called Democratic National Conference (DNC).

It had abrogation of Article 370 on its agenda. Nehru would not brook any opposition to his policy of keeping J&K a separate entity. He told the leaders that a new threat (China) is emerging and it is an inopportune time to raise this issue and forced them to drop their demand. Nehru thereafter decided to withdraw the Kashmir conspiracy case against Sheikh Abdullah. This case had been going on since May 21, 1958. The formal orders however were issued by Govt of India on 8 April 1964.

It is often forgotten that J&K state is not a homogeneous entity. Apart from Valley Muslims, Jammu has a predominantly Hindu population while Ladakh has a mix of Buddhist and Muslims. Then you have the Gujjars & Bakarwals. 

Why is Article 370 detrimental to the full integration of J&K state into Indian Union. 

Firstly the Central Govt can make laws only with concurrence of the State govt, practically giving it the Veto power. Article 352 and 360 for declaration of national and financial emergency respectively cannot be applied in Kashmir. While a citizen of India has only Indian citizenship, J&K citizens have two citizenships. Anti Defection Law is not applicable to J&K. No outsider can buy property in J&K state.

The beneficial laws such as Wealth Tax, Gift Tax & Urban Land Ceiling Act and intermarriage with other Indian nationals do not operate in J&K State. Even Article 356 under which President of India can impose his rule in any state cannot be enforced in J&K without consent of the Governor who himself is an appointee of the President. State of J&K can refuse building of any cantonment on any site or refuse to allot land for defence purposes.

Article 370, included in the Constitution on a temporary provision should have been gradually abrogated. This has not happened in sixty years. In fact whenever someone mentions this, vested interests raise an outcry that legitimate rights of Kashmiris are being trampled upon. Stated agenda of National Conference is return to pre 1953 status. Why should a state of Indian Union have a special status? It conveys a wrong signal not only to Kashmiris but also to the separatists, Pakistan and indeed the international community that J&K is still to become integral part of India, the sooner Article 370 is done away is better.

Article 370 of the Constitution of India

Temporary Provisions with respect to the State of Jammu & Kashmir

1.             Notwithstanding anything in this constitution:

(a)             The provisions of Article 238 shall not apply in relation to the State of Jammu & Kashmir.

(b)             The power of Parliament to make laws for the said state shall be limited to

those matters in the Union List and the Concurrent List which in consultation with the Government of the State, are declared by the President to correspond to matters specified in the Instrument of Accession governing the accession of State to the Dominion of India as the matters with respect to which the Dominion Legislature may make laws for that State and

Such other matters in the Said Lists as, with the concurrence of the Govt of the State, the President may, by order specify.

Explanation. For the purposes of this Article, the Govt of the State means the person for the time being recognized by the President as Maharaja of Jammu & Kashmir acting on the advice of the council of Ministers for the time being in office under the Maharaja’s Proclamation dated the fifty day of March 1948.

               (c)             The provisions of Article (1) and of this Article shall apply in relation to this State;

(d)             Such of the other provisions of this Constitution shall apply in relation to that State Subject to such exceptions and modifications as the President may by order specify;

Provided that no such order which related to the matters specified in the Instrument of Accession of the State referred to in paragraph (i) of sub clause (1) shall be issued except in consultation with the govt of the State.

Provided further that no such order which relates to matters other than those referred to in the last proceeding proviso shall be issued except with the concurrence of the Govt of the State.

2.             If the concurrence of the Govt of the State referred to in para (ii) of Sub Clause (b) of Clause (1) be given before the Constituent Assembly for the purpose of framing the Constitution of the State is concerned. It shall be placed before such Assembly for such decision as it may take thereon.

3.             Notwithstanding the anything in the foregoing provisions of the article, the President may, by public notification, declare that this Article shall cease to be operative or shall be operative only with such exceptions and modifications and from such date as he may notify.

Provided that the recommendation of the Constituent Assembly of the State referred to in Clause (2) shall be necessary before the President issues such a notification.

Indian Politicians: Pakistan's Proxy Soldiers

Col. Purohit of the Military Intelligence was implicated for his association with ‘Abhinav Bharat’, an organization labeled by the authorities as progenitor of so-called ‘Hindu Terror’. It is another matter that more than 50 officers of the army in the Court of Inquiry have vouched for the fact that he had kept all the relevant authorities in loop regarding his infiltration into the said organization. The officer also had very successfully infiltrated the Indian Mujahideen (IM) and was regularly invited by the Maharastra ATS to conduct lectures on IM and LeT. 

A fortnight before 26/11, Col Purohit was arrested. As a consequence the Military Intelligence of India was intimidated and paralyzed. Was it to facilitate the attack on Mumbai by the LeT?

Now there is an attack on the core of internal security, i.e. Intelligence Bureau of India. Its sin being that it provided ‘specific intelligence’ with regard to the plans by an itinerate module comprising four LeT terrorists, two Pakistanis and also an Indian woman Ishrat Jahan to kill the Chief Minister of a state of Union of India. 

It is another matter that this Chief Minister happens to be Narendra Modi. The dispensation in Delhi seems to convey ‘death to Modi, long live LeT’. The love or fear of LeT has impelled the quarters  to consciously  wreck the internal security apparatus of the country. 

Even as the embers of the targeting of the IB fly in and outside the country, an Inspector of Punjab Police, Surjit Singh, has claimed that he has carried out 83 fake encounters at the behest of his bosses during the‘Sikh Freedom Movement’. The timing of the smote on the conscience and the moral churning process of this Inspector clearly indicates the identity of his benefactors. The ISI’s desperate bid to revive militancy in Punjab through its strategic arm LeT has been widely reported in the media.This seems to be yet another attempt by the ISI and LeT to destroy the security apparatus in Punjab so as to make uncontested in-roads. 

 The targets have been carefully selected i.e the Military Intelligence, the Intelligence Bureau and the state police forces, which includes the Gujarat Police, where nearly a dozen officers have been hounded and intimidated by the Center. 

The only officer who has found favour of the Center  was  the one demanding a Black Berry phone from a political party to settle political scores.

The common enemy of these agencies is the LeT. It is the same LeT (Markaz-e-Taiba), which has received Rs.61 million by the Punjab government in Pakistan as grant-in-aid in the current fiscal. The tragedy is that it is not only Pakistan establishment which grovels to the head of LeT, Hafiz Saeed, but the Indian establishment as well. 

The love or fear of LeT has impelled the quarters to consciously wreck the internal security apparatus of the country.

Ishrat Jahan, a 19 year old girl from Mumbai was killed with LeT terrorists in Ahmedabad in an encounter on 15 June 2004. The family members in hindsight allege that Ishrat was abducted by the IB. It is queer that once she went missing her family members did not deem it fit to lodge an FIR with the Mumbai Police. Their inaction and silence on the issue can also be construed that the links with LeT run much deeper and wider. 

The dispensation by attacking the Special Director of the Intelligence Bureau, Rajendra Kumar, has attacked the core of India’s internal security intelligence. All for whom, but the LeT! 

Mr Rajendra Kumar’s failing has been his being professional and conscientious. In that he acquired intelligence from ‘sources’, informed the higher-ups in Delhi, which includes his seniors and in-turn the Ministry of Home Affairs. His main failing however was that, in the process, he was not saving a Chief Minister but Narendra Modi. If he had acted in the same manner to save the life of some privileged ‘democratic-monarchs’ of the country, he would have been awarded Padma Vibhushan and in the case of highest monarch a ‘ Bharat Ratna.’ After all the same dispensation rewarded Mr Brajesh Mishra with Padma Vibushan for his Boston rescue operation of the ‘Yuvraj’. Readers with little research can know the truth.

Never before in the history of India, an IB or R&AW official was asked to submit before the CBI for interrogation  on professional matters. Is it a ploy to unravel the entire intelligence framework of the country? 

This author who served with R&AW would have preferred to kill himself rather than submit to the CBI for interrogation of sensitive matters that are vital to Indian security interests. If this author was the head of the IB, the Special Director would have reported to the CBI over his dead body. The CBI has absolutely no competence to interrogate an IB and R&AW official on matters of internal and external security. By sheer level of politicization, the mediocre content of the job of the CBI, it is ill-equipped to deal with IB and R&AW officials.

If the CBI cannot be trusted with Arushi murder case or the Nithari case pertaining to Moninder Singh Pandher, what is its credibility! The whole world knows the truth in these cases sans the CBI. Can the Prime Minister at the current stage of his life cross his heart and vouch that he does not know the truth in these two cases? How has suddenly the CBI become the repository of the national conscience, which includes the IB and the R&AW? 

The IB has been pitted against the CBI. In the case of blasts in Malegaon in 2006, the NIA has been pitted against the Maharastra ATS and the CBI. And earlier in Col Purohit’s case the Mahrastra ATS was pitted against the Military Intelligence. The effect of the orchestrated attrition is already beginning to tell. 

This systematic destruction of India’s internal security apparatus is not only for vote-bank politics as most commentators are suggesting. Of course the Modi-phobia is a factor but not the sole reason.It has a larger dimension which is evident from the nervousness displayed by the dispensation with regard to ISI, Hafiz Saeed and David Headley. 

Do they know too much? 

Were they used to stage 26/11 to counter Jehadi terror by creating the specter of ‘Hindu Terror’? How does David Headley have the gumption to abuse Indian interrogators?Are the services of the ISI and LeT being obtained to influence vote-bank politics? Is the LeT and the ISI asking too much in return? These are questions which readers must ponder upon. 

While the readers do so, their benchmark should be the fact that if Ajmal Kasab had not developed cold feet and caught alive, all preparations has been made to label 26/11 as act of ‘Hindu Terror’. Books to this effect were pre-written and the choice of the Chief Guest decided. Till today nobody has questioned as to how an unconstitutional authority was in  indirect communication with the Maharastra ATS Chief Hemant Karkare, and eliciting sensitive security details. If this politician cannot explain this he should be treated like any other terrorist. 

 For matters of national security the relationship between all the intelligence organizations of the States and the Center is both vertical and horizontal. Flow of intelligence is not only from top to down but in the reverse order too. Moreover, there is lateral sharing as well. The multiplicity of agencies has its benefits in terms of overlap, corroboration and coverage. By targeting the IB, the Military Intelligence, the state security apparatus of Gujarat and the previous Maharastra ATS, the dispensation has intimidated the entire intelligence network of India.  India is now an open and defenseless target. The traitors as of now have prevailed!

No intelligence official now will provide or share information with the same degree of sincerity and patriotism. The  Indian intelligence community is now a scared community. Nationalism and patriotism have become criminal attributes. Things have gone so anti-national that the most sensitive information was being leaked by the CBI pertaining details of Ishrat Jahan case and there were media houses, flaunting documents which should have been only for the consumption of Prime Minister and the Home Minister. The Pakistan or the ISI connection of some of these news channels  and journalists is too well known. 

 Ishrat Jahan and her associates were nothing but tools of proxy war by Pakistan. Anybody with a modicum of understanding of terrorism will understand that the role of Ishrat was to act as suicide-bomber, as revealed by David Headley. There are any number of such modules waiting to strike. Rajiv Gandhi too was eliminated by eliciting the services of one such suicide bomber through the aegis of LTTE. This could not have happened without unsuspecting facilitators within.

India should realize that this is an era of proxy wars. A civilized country to retain its civility has to fight with uncivilized ‘proxy soldiers’, the kind of Ishrat Jahan. In this proxy war, which is also referred to as ‘intelligence wars’, the role of intelligence agencies is predominant. In dealing with such adversaries, there are methods, which have been used in the past to bring back civility, whose peace dividends people of India including the politicians, the civil activists and the vocal media continue to enjoy. One such region is the Punjab province of India. The dispensation at the behest and blackmail of external enemies has by design destroyed the entire internal security apparatus assiduously built over the years for the LeT and vote-bank politics.

India now stands exposed. Whenever there is the next blast or terrorist attack don’t expect too much from Indian intelligence framework. It stands intimidated and unraveled. It will be extremely difficult for the Indian security apparatus to recover from this wreck.

The ISI and LeT has won!

THE DIABOLICAL AIM OF THE CHARGE SHEET FILED BY CBI IN ISHRAT JEHAN ENCOUNTER CASE IS TO GET MODI, GRAB MODI, HANG MODI, TARNISH HIS IMAGE, DESTROY HIS CREDIBILITY, NAIL HIM, FIX HIM AND DISQUALIFY HIM FROM FIGHTING ELECTIONS  IN 2014,  EVEN AT THE COST OF NATIONAL SECURITY!

The recent charge sheet filed in Ishrat Jehan encounter in 2004  by CBI against 7 patriotic Hindu police officers is not only politically motivated and mala fide in its intent  but also outrageous and  reprehensible in its content.  It  could embolden  terror  outfits  like Al Qaeda,  Lashkar-e-Tayiba, The Taliban,  Indian Mujahideen;  and boost  the morale of  several other  Pakistani  terrorist  groups  waiting for an opportunity to kill and murder innocent Indian citizens.

In this case, we should understand in unambiguous terms that it is not purely the question of law and order.  We are fighting a war unleashed by Pakistan and anti-Indian  and fifth columnists planted by our enemies in  the Indian State.  It should be dealt with the full  force of the  State.  Any  weakening under the guise of human rights will give fillip to the anti-India forces waiting in the wings to tear apart Indian State.

Sonia Gandhi and her Congress is mortally afraid of Chief Minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi.  They are worried that if he becomes the next Prime Minister of India,  Sonia  Family   would  be put either in Tihar Jail  for  plundering  billions of dollars from poor Indians,  encouraging missionaries to convert gullible and poor Hindus by force, fraud and allurement  to Christianity and indirectly supporting Islamic terrorism.  Another option  for the Family  will be to flee from India. 

We believe that  CBI charge sheet  is a part of the sinister  conspiracy hatched between Sonia Gandhi and her political adviser Ahmad Patel.  The aim of this charge sheet is to tarnish Narendr Modi’s image, destroy  his credibility, nail him, fix him, disqualify him from fighting elections in 2014 even at the cost of national security.    

In order to implement their mean, mendacious and atrocious design,  Ahmed Patel and Sonia Gandhi have already  posted several Muslims and Christians in most sensitive  positions to  reduce Hindus to second class citizens in their own country as mentioned in my blog: 

“Salman Khurshid, Foreign Minister of India; E. Ahmad, India’s Minister for External Affairs; Syed Akbarddin, the spokesman for the Ministry of External Affairs; Chief of Intelligence Bureau, Syed Asif Ibrahim; Chief Justice of India, Altmas Kabir; Attorney General of India, Goolam E. Vahanvati; Vice President of India Mohammed Hameed Ansari; Health Minister Gulam Nabi Aza;, Union Minister Farooq Abdullah, K. Rahman Khan, Sonia Gandhi’s political Advisor Ahmad Patel all are Muslims. Former Chief Election Commissioner of India, S.Y. Qureshi was also a Muslim.

Sonia Gandhi, her son Rahul Gandhi, Defense Minister A.K. Anthony, Air Chief Marshall Norman Anil Kumar Browne all are Christians.”

The  Governor of Jharkhand Syed Ahmed  and the Governor of Uttrakhand Dr. Aziz Qureshi,  are both Muslims.  There are unconfirmed rumors that several Congress Ministers and leaders  like Ambika Soni,  Manish Tiwari,  Anand Sharma, Jagan Reddy (not with Sonia any more),  Ajit Jogi, masquerading under Hindu names are also converts  to Islam or Christianity.

Several Muslims officials have been posted in very sensitive posts in CBI.  For example the CBI’s Director of Prosecution  Abdul Aziz was re-employed through a proposal moved by the Department of Personnel Training (DoPT)  after his retirement in July when his status was equivalent to that of a Joint Secretary. CBI’s Special Director Salim Ali was specifically appointed to lead the investigation with an eye  to fix Narendra Modi and and degrade, demonize and demoralize other Hindu officials of IB.

In this connection, it would be worthwhile to note that  in appointing  Sayed Asif Ibrahim as Chief of Intelligence Bureau,  the government had  overlooked  three officers (Hindus?)  one year senior to him  in the Indian Police Service. It would not be out of place to mention here that Sonia Gandhi has composed a National Advisory Council (NAC).  Most of its members are far left guys, leftists, communists, Muslims and Christians.  They  have come up with a bill “Prevention of Communal and Targetted Violence Bill”.  The aim of this Bill is also to gag the voice of Hindus in their own country and terrorize them into submission.

Governor of Delhi has sent shock waves all over the Hindu world.  Hindus look at it as a horrendous scheme to promote Islam in India.

Here are some examples of harassment of patriotic Hindu Police officials.  In the past six months the CBI enquiry  spearheaded by Muslim CBI officials has methodically victimized the Hindu police officers, beginning with the arrest and incarceration of G.L.  Singhal. On June 4, 2013 suspended IPS officer D. G. Vanzara was arrested by the CBI, from Sabarmati Central Jail in Ahmedabad, after he was transferred a day ago from a Mumbai Jail, where he was lodged as he is an accused in Sohrabuddin Shaikh encounter killing case of 2005. Arrest warrants are pending for Gujarat Additional DGP (Crime) P.P.  Pandey, who is in hiding,  though he has filed an appeal in the Supreme Court to get the FIR cancelled. On May 2013,  IB Special Director Rajendra Kumar summoned for interrogation.

There are several proofs  (which CBI has chosen to ignore) that Ishrat Jehan was a Lashkar-e-Taiba suicide bomber.  The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had apparently informed the Intelligence Bureau (IB) that Ishrat Jehan was a Lashkar-e-Taiba suicide bomber.     

Ishrat Jehan and Javed did a reconnaissance mission in Ahmedabad on May 13-14 and stayed at Hotel Shivganga, in Ahmedabad as a married couple after which they returned back to Uttar Pradesh. The staff at the Mezban Hotel in Lucknow claim that Sheikh and Ishrat, using the pseudonyms Abdul Rahim and Ishrat Ayesha, shared room 204 on four days in May 2004. Mohammad Wasi, a resident of Ibrahimpur in Faizabad, says the visitors tried to buy weapons from local mafioso Javed Khan. Javed and Ishrat returned to Ahmedabad on May 24, 2004 and performed a reconnaissance mission in Ahmedabad. Ishrat Jahan was a part of hit squad (Amjad Ali Rana alias Babbar alias Salim, Zeeshan Johar, and  Javed Gulam Sheikh) to kill L.K. Advani and Narendra Modi.  This proves her guilt by association.   

In February 2013, Intelligence Bureau Chief, Asif Ibrahim , though a Muslim, for a change wrote a strongly worded letter to CBI where he backed up the IB’s claim that Ishrat was an LeT operative.  Indeed, Ibrahim was so convinced about the case he had, that when CBI did not desist even after his letter, he escalated the matter to Home Ministry and even PMO level. 

The Gujarat High Court-appointed SIT – additional DG of Central Industrial Security Force R R Verma, additional DG Mohan Jha and inspector general Satish Verma – agree:  the four, who were killed in the encounter, had links with terrorist outfits.

In the backdrop what has been stated above, it is clear that Sonia and Ahmed Patel are hell bent on tarnishing  Narendra Modi’s image  at any cost.  In order to win Muslim votes, they would even go to any extent to compromise national security.

Sonia and Ahmed Patel are misusing CBI to achieve their anti-India agenda.  It is a paradox that many Hindus are supporting them for their personal aggrandizement.  It is a matter of great regret and shame that seeds of suspicion are being sown between two nationally important intelligence agencies by the Congress Party.  This is tantamount to treason and could endanger Indian security system.

It is a matter of great concern that on one hand China and Pakistan are hobnobbing to encircle India from outside,  and on the other hand Sonia and Ahmed Patel  in collaboration with anti-national forces are weakening and destroying India and Hindus from within.

The first volume was published in spring 1990. The first volume includes a list of 2000 mosques that were built on Hindu temples. It includes the names of the original Hindu Temple and the Mosque names – district-by-district and state-by-state. This list is based primarily on the books of Muslim historians of the period or the inscriptions of the mosques and also personal investigation. Sri Rama Temple at Ayodhya On the site of the birth of Lord Rama, a magnificent temple devoted to Him was erected. However, Babur, a fifteenth Mogul invader, brutalized India and also destroyed Rama Temple raised a structure in it’s place, which he called Babri Masjid. The temple complex comprised of the Janmasthan of Sri Rama at Kot Ram Chander, the private apartments (mahal sarai) of King Dashrath and Sri Rama, and a temple and a kitchen popularly known as Sita Ki Rasoi, where tradition held that Sita (wife of Sri Rama) lived. All three were demolished and a mosque constructed thereupon in 1528 A.D. For centuries Hindus tried to recover this auspicious site. In 2010, somewhat confusing verdict was issued by Allahabad High court accepting Ayodhya as a birth of Rama. Krishna janmasthala in Mathura  The Keshava Rai Temple at Mathura was built by Bir Singh Deo Bundela during Jahangir’s time at a cost of thirty-three lakhs of rupees. The Dehra of Keshava Rai was one of the most magnificent temples ever built in India and enjoyed veneration of the Hindus throughout the land. Alberuni observed that this temple was approximately 20 times large than the largest mosque he ever saw in his life. 1. The next big temple was constructed here during the time of the Gupta Emperor Chandragupta Vikramaditya around 400 AD. This temple was so grand that it was said that neither painting nor description could describe it. Mahmud of Ghazni destroyed the temple in 1017 AD. 2. Another temple was built here in 1150. It was destroyed in the 16th century during the reign of Sikander Lodi. 3. The Dehra of Keshava Rai was demolished in the month of Ramzan (13 January – 11 February 1670) by Aurangzeb’s order. “In a short time, by the great exertion of the officers, the destruction of this strong foundation of infidelity was accomplished and on its site a lofty mosque was built at the expenditure of a large sum”. Thus the barbarian Islamic rulers Mohamud Ghazni, Sikander Lodi and Aurangzeb destroyed the Krishna Janmasthala. In fact Aurangzeb not only destroyed the Mandir in 1669-1670 but he built Idgah Qila (mosque) over it.Even today the visitors can still see the mosque on top of the Krishna Janmasthala to prove that the Hindus can be crushed, and made gutless and spineless.            Viswanath Temple in Benares was the target of Islamic Terror: Kashi Viswanath Temple, Varanasi Kashi Viswanath temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is popularly known as the 'Golden Temple' due to the gold plating done on its 15.5-meter high spire. One tonneof gold donated by Maharaja Ranjit Singh has been used in the gold plating of the spire. The temple was destroyed by various invaders and was rebuilt in 1776 by Rani Ahilyabai of Indore. Due to security reasons, metal detectors are placed throughout the temple. The Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb who built the Gaynvapi Mosque in its place destroyed the Viswanath temple. Even today the western wall of the mosque show the remnants of a temple, which had very intricate and fine artwork on it. The original Shiva temple of Kashi finds mention in the scriptures. The current temple is believed to have been built in the eleventh century, which was destroyed by Muhammad Ghori in the twelfth century. The temple was rebuilt by devotees but then demolished by the slave king QutubuddinAibak. After Aibak's death, the temple was rebuilt with the permission of his successor, the slave king Altutmish, better known as the father of the first woman ruler of Delhi, Razia Sultana. The temple of Kashi Viswanath was again destroyed by Feroze Shah Tughlaq in the fourteenth century. The temple was rebuilt by Raja Todarmal, the revenue minister in the court of the Mughal king Akbar. Aurangzeb, Akbar's great grandson demolished the temple, built a mosque known as the Gyanvapi mosque in its place, and even renamed the city Mohammedabad from Kashi. In the eighteenth century, the queen Ahilyabai Holkar rebuilt the temple, and in the nineteenth century, Maharaja Ranjit Singh donated 1000 kilos of gold to gold plate the temple spire and the dome.             It is believed that the Gyanvapi well is the place where the original Shiva lingam was buried. It is said that the priests of the temple saved the lingam when Aurangzeb attacked the temple, by throwing it in a well. Visible from here, is the Gyanvapi mosque that Aurangzeb had built, the living proof from history of the destructive nature and the uselessness of narrow-mindedness and hatred. Irfan Husain (Pakistani Writer) in his article “Demons from the Past” observes: "Their temples were razed, their idols smashed, their women raped, their men killed or taken slaves. When Mahmud of Ghazni entered Somnath on one of his annual raids, he slaughtered all 50,000 inhabitants. Aibak killed and enslaved hundreds of thousands. The list of horrors is long and painful. These conquerors justified their deeds by claiming it was their religious duty to smite non-believers. Cloaking themselves in the banner of Islam, they claimed they were fighting for their faith when, in reality, they were indulging in straightforward slaughter and pillage...” Will Durant argued in his 1935 book "The Story of Civilization: Our Oriental Heritage" (p: 459): "The Mohammedan conquest of India is probably the bloodiest story in history. The Islamic historians and scholars have recorded with great glee and pride the slaughters of Hindus, forced conversions, abduction of Hindu women and children to slave markets and the destruction of temples carried out by the warriors of Islam during 800 AD to 1700 AD. Millions of Hindus were converted to Islam by sword during this period." Dr. Keonraad Elst also writes in his book "Negation in India": "The Muslim conquests, down to the 16th century, were for the Hindus a pure struggle of life and death. Entire cities were burnt down and the populations massacred, with hundreds of thousands killed in every campaign, and similar numbers deported as slaves. Every new invader made (often literally) his hills of Hindus skulls. Thus, the conquest of Afghanistan in the year 1000 was followed by the annihilation of the Hindu population; the region is still called the Hindu Kush, i.e. Hindu slaughter." Francois Gautier in his book 'Rewriting Indian History' (1996) wrote: "The massacres perpetuated by Muslims in India are unparalleled in history, bigger than the Holocaust of the Jews by the Nazis; or the massacre of the Armenians by the Turks; more extensive even than the slaughter of the South American native populations by the invading Spanish and Portuguese." Alain Danielou in his book, History of India writes:  "From the time Muslims started arriving, around 632 AD, the history of India becomes a long, monotonous series of murders, massacres, spoliations, and destructions. It is, as usual, in the name of 'a holy war' of their faith, of their sole God, that the barbarians have destroyed civilizations, wiped out entire races." Writer Fernand Braudel wrote in A History of Civilizations (1995),that Islamic rule in India was "extremely violent", and "the Muslims could not rule the country except by systematic terror. Cruelty was the norm – burnings, summary executions, crucifixions or impalements, inventive tortures. Hindu temples were destroyed to make way for mosques. On occasion there were forced conversions. If ever there were an uprising, it was instantly and savagely repressed: houses were burned, the countryside was laid waste, men were slaughtered and women were taken as slaves."             Even after Independence in 1947, these relentless, brutal, merciless, inhumane and ruthless attacks on India, especially on Hindu Temples and Hindus are inflicting untold number of people, killing thousand of Hindus, denying Hindus to practice their religious festivals, and blocking the practice of offering Aarthi and ringing bells. No politician in certain parties dare say any thing against fearing of loosing the advantage of vote bank politics; no media wants to have an open discussion on the open declaration by Islamic leaders to complete “unfinished business” of converting India into an Islamic state; no ruling party politician talks about forced conversions in Bangladesh and Pakistan where Hindu Population has dwindled drastically, no ruling part will discuss theBangladesh infiltration and many politicians shamelessly pump money to Hajj subsidy.             Unless Hindus realize the potential damage they might experience in the near future in the hands of Muslims, they will have a bitter awakening waiting at their doorsteps. Chances are that Sharia law may be imposed denying the very basic freedom Hindus are enjoying today;Jizya tax may be imposed or conversion to Islam is demanded;many Hind Temples will be desecrated and destroyed;genital mutilation may be implemented;bomb blasts will increase killing more and more people and creating a terror in the hearts of Hindus; cow slaughter will become rampant; killing of kefirs will increase as per the dictates sanctioned by Quran; Hindu girls will be kidnapped, married forcibly and convert them; and many politicians will sell the country for their selfish for money and power.             Sri Aurobindo clearly saw what was coming.  Hindus have repeatedly ignored the sage’s words, negated the atrocities committed by Muslim rulers, hiding in the trenches as if nothing is happening, and accepting the repeated false statement that Islam is a peaceful religion. More than 100 years ago, Sri Aurobindo clearly forewarned on September 1909: "Every action for instance which may be objectionable to a number of Mahommedans, is now liable to be forbidden because it is likely to lead to a breach of peace. And one is dimly beginning to wonder whether worship in Hindu temples may be forbidden on that valid ground.”  What a foresight?  What a prophetic statement?  How true it was and is.  Similarly Francois Gautier observed that, “We will never be able to assess the immense physical harm done to India by the Muslim invasions. Even more difficult is to estimate the moral and the spiritual damage done to Hindu India. But once again, the question is not of vengeance, or of reawakening old ghosts, but of not repeating the same mistakes. Unfortunately, the harm done by the Muslims conquest is not over.” Repeated bomb blasts killing thousands of people are the testimony for the hatred toward Hindus and public, open challenge to convert India into an Islamic country. KoenraadElst also describes the brutality, terrorism and obsessive nature of Islam. He observed that unlike all others religions, “Islam is violence-prone and terror-minded with an unprecedented systematicity and therefore on a much larger scale. Unlike Hinduism, Islam was founded by and looks up to a man who committed murder, abduction for ransom, rape, slave-taking and slave-trading.”He even goes to the extent of stating that Islam is comfortable with violence, and has no principles, ethics, morals and scruples in conducting large-scale terrorist attacks.  Once the so-called enemy is rooted out, then they fight among themselves because it is the nature of Islam to keep waging wars within or without. V S Naipual has written extensively on the brutality of Muslims and how it wounded the richest, lone surviving cultures, that is Hinduism. Islam is born only to both enslaved and attempted to wipe out other cultures."It has had a calamitous effect on converted peoples. To be converted you have to destroy your past, destroy your history. You have to stamp on it, you have to say 'my ancestral culture does not exist, it doesn't matter'."             If Hindus fail to learn the lessons of more than ten centuries of atrocities, Islamic genocide of Hindus, demolition of Hindu Temples, denigration of Hindu Gods, enslaving Hindu women and children, and amputate all Hindus who refuse to be converted, not only they will experience similar horrific, barbaric, and brutalatrocities and they are also paving the way for their own kith and kin to go through untold misery and melancholy.  History will repeat itself. Hindus will be doomed to make mistakes their forefathers committed. The blood will flow on the streets, heaps of skulls will be on display, cries of torture and mutilation will be heard miles and miles, more and more mosques will be built on the Hindu Temple sites following their demolition, the statues of Hindu gods will be used again to construct the footsteps to the mosques, many more mountains will be converted to “Hindu Kush” mountains, and finish the “unfinished business” very soon.
